In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has placed great emphasis on the development of renewable energy sources, with a focus on hydropower. As a result, significant investments in hydropower and hydroelectricity are underway in the country and more are expected in the future. With the same development plans and many years of experience in similar projects, a long-term partnership between our company, Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. and Kyrgyzstan can be established in the near future, and we plan to create many successful developments together.

Our company, Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. is interested in several hydropower projects in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, there are several ambitious projects underway in the Central Asian country in which our company would also like to participate. Ganz is therefore in continuous discussions with its Partners in the country to explore and conclude possible agreements for cooperation.

Given Ganz’s ambition to become a major player in the renewable energy market to create a sustainable future, our company’s objectives are in line with Kyrgyzstan’s plans for hydro energy and hydropower. In recent years, our company has manufactured and supplied generators for major hydroelectric and hydropower projects in several countries, including India.

Ganz is planning further projects in the Central Asian region, mainly in service activities, as well as of manufacturing transformers, and motors. Currently, our company is present in the region mainly through the maintenance of transformers and rotating machines which were previously manufactured and delivered.

“As our company sees its future mainly in the renewable energy market, it is of strategic importance for us to strengthen our presence in this area. In this way, participating in hydropower developments is strongly aligned with our business strategy and growth plans for the energy sector” – said Gergely Gál, our company’s managing director.
